Requirements
Description of responsibilities :
- Perform thorough patient assessments to ascertain mental health needs and develop tailored treatment strategies.
- Devise and execute individualized treatment plans for patients, addressing their specific mental health disorders and behavioral concerns.
- Administer counseling and therapy sessions to individuals dealing with various mental health issues, employing evidence-based practices like motivational interviewing and psychotherapy techniques.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
- Continuously monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as indicated by clinical outcomes.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and uphold accurate record-keeping practices in accordance with regulatory standards.
Required Skills :
- Demonstrated experience in assisting individuals with mental health disorders and behavioral health concerns.
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive patient assessments and crafting effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Thorough understanding of evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mental health counseling, ensuring optimal patient care.
- Strong communication skills, enabling effective engagement with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to deliver compassionate care while upholding professional boundaries, fostering a supportive and respectful environment.
- Familiarity with behavioral health regulations and compliance standards, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal requirements.
Qualifications :
- Current LCSW licensure in Illinois.
- Must be in-network with Medicaid.
- In-network with additional insurance companies is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience providing therapy in a clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Simple Practice; preferred.
Benefits
Compensation structure : LCSW or LCPC will receive 60% of the total amount reimbursed by insurance companies for their sessions.
After a successful probationary period of 6 months, there is potential for percentage reimbursed to increase based on performance.
