The Role
As our Manager, Youth Leadership National Programs, you'll be central to our mission of empowering youth to become active community leaders. Guided by the "Youth Led, Adult Guided" philosophy, you'll manage national initiatives that put young people at the forefront of community health, safety, and substance use prevention efforts while developing the adults who support them.
What You'll Do :
- Lead National Youth Programs : Oversee comprehensive initiatives that promote meaningful youth engagement through community coalitions
- Build Communities of Practice : Facilitate networks for adults supporting youth leadership, enhancing their skills in youth engagement and development
- Manage Strategic Partnerships : Coordinate cooperative agreements, develop work plans, manage budgets, and oversee progress reporting
- Collaborate with Key Stakeholders : Work closely with federal agencies, national partners, and subject matter experts to develop educational content and deliver technical assistance
- Coordinate Training Events : Plan and execute national training programs to strengthen youth leadership capabilities
- Lead and Develop Teams : Supervise, mentor, and support staff professional growth while ensuring high performance standards
- Drive Organizational Alignment : Serve as an interdepartmental liaison to align program objectives with broader organizational strategies
What You Bring :
Master's degree in Public Health, Education, or related field (preferred); Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience (required)Minimum 5 years' experience in youth leadership, public health programming, or community coalition managementExpertise in public health program management, strategic planning, and evidence-based program designProven track record building collaborative relationships with federal and organizational partnersStrong experience managing training, technical assistance, and community engagement initiatives at a national levelExceptional communication, facilitation, and partnership-building skillsCommitment to continuous quality improvement and innovative program executionDemonstrated leadership and team development capabilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and Microsoft TeamsAvailability for CADCA's signature events : Drug Free Kids Campaign, Mid-Year Training Institute, and National Leadership ForumWhat We Offer :
