What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by executing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately during emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting an orderly environment within the retail location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail space and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential issues. Observe and report any irregularities or incidents, such as property damage, theft, or unauthorized persons, to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client representatives. Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information as needed, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere in the location. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to promote a security-related presence and help to deter disruptive behavior within the retail environment. Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
