The Senior IT Director, Agency Management Systems will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of a scalable Wholesale Brokerage Agency Management System solution. You will be responsible for partnering with various internal departments and System Integrators to ensure the system implementation meets business needs and is operationally ready for wide-scale deployment, building a team that will partner with Managed Service Providers to jointly administer the service, and then lead ongoing development within the system and collaborate with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals. Reporting to the Head of Technology for RPS (Risk Placement Services), you will establish key relationships with peers across the RPS IT organization along with RPS Business Leadership including Branch Managers, Executive Leadership, as well as the Global IT Organization, including leaders within IT Operations, Information Security, Data, and Digital Development.
We are seeking a very well established Insurtech leader with extensive insurance industry experience and someone who is energized by the idea of leading a transformative Digital Insurance Platform implementation. This role can be fully remote / virtual / work from home and you can sit anywhere in the US.
How You'll Make an Impact
Lead the RPS Agency Management System Program : Provide leadership to the day-to-day implementation of Salesforce solutions across Financial Services Cloud and Broker Insurance for RPS. Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs, requirements, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Guidance : Provide leadership and guidance to the program team, ensuring everyone is aligned with the program goals and working towards a common objective. Change Management : Partner with System Integrators and the Gallagher change management and training teams to develop change management strategies and training materials to ensure smooth operational transition. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Governance, and other teams to ensure alignment with corporate standards and long-term technology strategy and platform compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements. Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess business needs and recommend effective solutions. Utilize agile project management techniques to facilitate iterative development and continuous feedback.
About You
A relevant technical BS Degree in Information Technology or similar field. 10+ years of technology leadership experience in insurance, including brokerage, MGA, Wholesale and Carrier Experience navigating brokerage and underwriting systems and applications, CRM, document management. Proven track record in leading transformation initiatives in the insurance industry, with significant knowledge of the entire Policy Lifecycle, preferably with experience in Agency Management Systems. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Transformational experience, with a track record of driving change and innovation. Strong knowledge of the latest technologies, including Generative AI. Ability to analyze business needs and align technology projects accordingly. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
