Claims Examiner
We are currently searching for an experienced Claims Examiner in Phoenix, AZ.
Our client is an A+ rated E&S carrier serving niche insurance markets & shouldering the risks, so their clients have the security to create, explore, grow and prosper.
Highlights of this role :
- You will handle a very manageable caseload of high-severity / low frequency claims.
- You will work in an entrepreneurial environment and be expected to have an Ownership Mentality giving you a lot of authority to make business decisions as you see fit.
- Claims Examiner will be responsible for conducting proactive investigation, risk transfer, claim handling, attorney management, and claims resolutions.
- You will work closely with Defense Counsel on developing appropriate litigation strategy and be very involved in deep and thorough claims investigations.
What we are looking for :
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 2-5 years of experience handling complex Commercial General Liability, Excess and other Casualty Claims
- Exceptional writing and communication skills allowing you to work effectively with insureds, claimants, underwriters, and upper management.
