Senior Sales Executive

Location : New York City

Working Style : Hybrid – at least one day a week at the showroom, the remainder in the market / at appointments

Are you a sales professional with a passion for luxury design and an eye for cultivating high-value client relationships?

We’re looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join a dynamic, high-end design sales team in New York. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a fast-paced, creative environment while driving your own success and growth.

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be at the forefront of expanding the brand’s presence in the luxury design market. You’ll combine strategic business development with exceptional client service, positioning yourself as the go-to expert for designers, architects, and homeowners. If you thrive on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and exceeding sales goals, this role is designed for you.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with interior designers, architects, trade professionals, and high-end homeowners.
  • Identify untapped market segments and emerging design firms to generate new revenue streams.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, local real estate developments, and designer movements to uncover business opportunities before competitors.
  • Conduct client appointments, showroom visits, presentations, and on-site consultations to showcase expertise and enhance brand visibility.
  • Qualify and manage new leads through phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring timely and professional follow-up.
  • Drive individual sales by managing a personal portfolio of clients and consistently meeting or exceeding monthly targets.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on luxury products, custom capabilities, and design solutions.

Oversee the full sales cycle, from initial consultation to delivery and post-installation follow-up.

Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activity, and pipeline progress.
  • Provide weekly reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market insights to leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing, production timelines, and delivery logistics.

    Qualifications

  • Three to five years of proven experience in luxury sales, interior design, or high-end home furnishings.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and a proactive approach to business development.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing client portfolios and sales processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid role, balancing showroom engagement with in-field business development.
  • Passion for luxury design and delivering superior client experiences.
