Senior Account Executive – Luxury Hardwood Flooring & Surfaces

Position Overview :
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving sales growth by delivering an elevated showroom experience and cultivating relationships within the A&D community. This hybrid role blends in-person showroom sales with external business development, making it ideal for a polished, results-driven professional who thrives in both client-facing hospitality and strategic sales outreach.
Key Responsibilities :
- Welcome, consult, and guide showroom visitors (designers, architects, builders, and homeowners) through product options, finishes, and custom solutions.
- Host design presentations, client meetings, showroom events, and “lunch & learns.”
- Develop and expand business opportunities with architects, designers, builders, and developers across the NYC metro area.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and professional association gatherings.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and quoting to contract negotiation and closing.
- Track activities, pipeline, and KPIs in the CRM system.
- Prepare detailed proposals, manage deposits and payment progress, and ensure accurate client documentation.
- Collaborate with project management and logistics teams to oversee lead times, deliveries, and material requirements.
- Work closely with accounting to align financial documentation and client billing.
- Stay informed on design trends, product knowledge, and competitive insights to serve as a trusted resource.
Qualifications :
5–7 years of sales experience of luxury finish materials to A&D / B&C clientele.Flooring or surface sales experience strongly preferred.Polished presentation and relationship-building skills with a high-end clientele.Strong business development mindset with ability to generate new opportunities.Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills.Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.Minimum 2-year college degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Compensation & Benefits :
