Accounts Payable Clerk

Position Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to become an integral part of our team! You will Enter Accounts Payable (A / P) invoices and process vendor checks, Track and record expenses, and resolve A / P discrepancies and disputes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Enter Accounts Payable (A / P) invoices and process vendor checks.
• Track and record expenses.
• Resolve A / P discrepancies and disputes.
• Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards.
• Provide support to the accounting team and management as needed.
• Periodically may serve as back up to answer incoming calls and redirecting to the appropriate department or employee.
• Process A / P and employee expense activities.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of A / P entries.
• Act as liaison with other departments, customers, and vendors.
• Perform online filing and general administrative tasks.
• Any other job duties assigned by management.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform required duties. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger and required to reach with hands and arms. There is no significant standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling. The person in this position needs to be able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. There is a constant operation of a telephone and computer. The employee may be lifting up to 15 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust and focus.
