CMM Programmer
Hiring Opportunity : Dayton OHOur client is looking for an experienced CMM programmer to join their manufacturing team in Dayton! Our client is a top metal forming company, known for their close tolerance hand spinning, CNC metal spinning, hydroforming, metal stamping and punching, and laser cutting.
The CMM Programmer will be responsible for operating the CMM by preforming set-up and making minor modifications to current programs.
Qualified candidates will have experience with GD&T, writing programs, hands on quality checks, and have a strong background in writing work instructions.
Responsibilities : - Store programs- Determine conformance of products based on data received from CMM- Report and document non-conformances, CARs, and continuous improvements- Coordinate and support all activities concerning the CMM- Proficiently utilize measuring tools, Excel spreadsheets, ERP system, and CMM software- Follow work order instructions, visual aids, routers, and AS9100 processes- Assist in calibration, non-destructive testing, and certificationsQualifications : - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite- Ability to read and interpret GD&T blueprints- Capacity to use a variety of quality measuring equipment such as, but not limited to : height gages, calipers, micrometer, radius gages, etc.
- AS9100 Quality compliance, understanding, and commitment- Minimum three (3) years of Quality and CMM operating experience- MODUS programming experience preferred- Pcdims software experience preferred
