Manager, Advocacy and Owned Engagement
As Manager, Advocacy and Owned Engagement, you will be responsible for developing creative and business-driving influencer marketing strategies for the L'Oreal Paris Skincare Category, building and fostering influencer relationships, and reporting on performance with insights. As the A&I expert, you will be responsible for driving share of influence within the category through awareness, engagement and conversion objective programming. The Manager will also be responsible for driving brand love via earned seeding, eventing, influencer and consumer experiential, owned social and PR (executed by our agency).
Responsibilities :
- Influencer Marketing Management :
- Support the execution of Advocacy & Influencer strategy to drive awareness and conversion to support key business priorities.
- Execute the go-to-market strategy for national campaigns + retailer programming (campaign briefing, campaign execution, creator casting, brief casting, content review).
- Co-lead all social x paid (with agency partner) inclusive of content trafficking, media performance + monitoring.
- Identify new and emerging influencers while simultaneously maintaining and growing relationships with key influencers and influencer management companies.
- Collaborate with Social Brand Managers and agencies on all paid influencer campaigns and activations to ensure alignment for maximum reach and results across organic, paid and earned.
- Co-manage influencer mailers and seeding strategy in partnership with team and agency.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Digital teams to align on brand priorities and key moments to properly plan affiliate programming, inclusive of TikTok Shop.
- Co-manage the influencer negotiation / contracting and briefing process directly with influencer managers, internal legal team, and any 3rd party influencer agencies.
- Influencer Events, Trips & Consumer-Facing Events :
- Co-lead the event strategy to create unique eventing experiences that builds love and fuels advocacy.
- Oversee PR agency / production company and lead all communication and feedback.
- Oversee development of invite lists, event ROS, attendee facebooks, etc.
- Assist in the production (with agency partner) and execution of consumer-facing events, and industry events (i.e. AAD).
- Lead event recap and report on ROI.
- Public Relations :
- Support the adaptation of global PR plans to support local activation needs.
- Work closely with PR agency to ensure that editors receive timely and usable brand messaging to drive significant press coverage for skincare priorities inclusive of press releases and factsheets.
- Co-lead cross-portfolio seasonal pitching efforts with agency team's support to maximize exposure for evergreen and tentpole brand moments.
- Lead the charge in analyzing, reporting, and sharing digital best practices as it relates to PR.
- Ensuring excellence and attention-to-detail in end-to-end planning, execution, and measurement of efforts.
- Reporting & Presentations :
- The Manager should be a master on all influencer and social platform tools, Traackr, MIM, NetBase, RivalIQ, etc. to analyze and report back on data.
- Assist AVP with development of reports and presentations for company & divisional leaders.
- Co-Develop and deliver Marketing Plans & Brand Engagement recaps.
- Analyze and share insights from the L'Oreal USA CDMO / COE reports that highlight influencer activity internally and externally.
- Oversee competitive analysis reporting to ensure L'Oreal Paris is positioned as a leader in the space.
Job Requirements :
5+ years of experience in Marketing, Social Media, Influencer and / or PR / communications in agency or in-house, excluding internships. Experience in beauty a plus.Bachelor's degree in related fieldStrong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsWell-versed in the influencer space, including familiar with key talent and content trendsIn-depth knowledge and experience with all major social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram / Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, SnapChat and emerging platformsAble to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a cross-functional teamStrong understanding and passion for the beauty and cosmetic industryStrong relationship with creators and management teamsStrong understanding in budget managementManagerial experience preferred (either direct report and / or management of agency)Ability to prioritize and multi-taskAbility to analyze data in terms of conversion and content performanceExperience with negotiation and managing vendors and partnersAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelData analysis platforms like Google AnalyticsWhat's In It For You :
