Job Overview - Behavioral Health Clinician (Integrated Care) :
Compensation : $29 - $39 / hour
Location : Burton, MI
Schedule : Monday to Friday (In-Office)
TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Behavioral Health Clinician (Integrated Care) in Burton, MI, for our client. This full-time, in-office role supports patient care through behavioral health interventions, crisis assessments, and coordinated care planning within a primary care setting. Ideal for master's-level clinicians passionate about integrated care, mental health, and improving access for underserved populations.
Responsibilities as the Behavioral Health Clinician (Integrated Care) :
- Clinical Interventions : Provide brief behavioral health services, including short-term counseling, psychoeducation, crisis support, and substance use interventions.
- Integrated Care Collaboration : Work closely with medical providers and care teams to address behavioral and social determinants of health within a coordinated care model.
- Assessment & Referral : Conduct behavioral health and substance use assessments, and facilitate referrals to internal or community-based resources.
- Patient Advocacy : Support patients in overcoming social, environmental, and socioeconomic barriers to improve health outcomes.
- Documentation : Maintain timely, accurate clinical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Qualifications for the Behavioral Health Clinician (Integrated Care) :
Education : Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program required.Licensure : Active Michigan LMSW required (Clinical licensure preferred).Experience : 2+ years working in community-based healthcare, primary care, or medical social work settings required.Technical Skills : Proficient in electronic medical records (EMRs) and care coordination systems, with the ability to thrive in dynamic, team-oriented healthcare settings.Certification : Substance use disorder credentialing preferred; willingness to obtain certification promptly required.Skills & Attributes : Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competency, and passion for holistic, patient-centered care.Other : Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation during work hours.Application Notice : Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
