The major duties of a Physician - Gastroenterologist include but are not limited to :
Completing inpatient and outpatient consults, review / disposition of clinical and care in the community consults, GI clinics to potentially include telehealth clinics, and performing all general GI endoscopic procedures and EUS / ERCP if trained / proficient in these advanced procedures.
The incumbent will also supervise trainees / fellows who are rotating on the GI service to include inpatient consults, consult review, outpatient clinics, and procedures.
Incumbent will support GI advanced practice providers. Other duties may be assigned by the Deputy Associate Chief of Staff for Specialty Care, Associate Chief of Staff for Specialty Care, or designee.

Qualifications
Must be a U.S. Citizen (
will consider non- citizen candidates
Preferred Experience :
Board certification / eligibility in Gastroenterology .
Board certification / eligibility in Internal Medicine preferred.
Proficiency in EUS, ERCP, and in reviewing and interpreting capsule endoscopies preferred.
