The Commercial Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of commercial projects. They communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects follow their timelines and budgets. Responsibilities include coordinating with operations and other internal teams; managing subcontractors / contracts and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery; preparing progress reports and forecasting; managing customer escalations, and holding weekly meetings with internal teams as needed.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions :

• Coordinate with commercial project operations and leadership regarding but not limited to daily goals, tasks, and crew accountability.
• Effectively coordinate with design / estimating, engineering, procurement, construction, and permitting teams.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure on-time and quality project delivery.
• Manage subcontractor contracts, change orders, and issue resolutions that arise during their work on site.
• Utilize Salesforce, Smartsheets and NetSuite and other relevant programs to monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including permitting and interconnection.
• Maintain regular communication with external stakeholders, including clients, utility representatives, and local authorities.
• Prepare and present progress reports, forecasts, and documentation for project milestones with our internal teams and external clients.
• Monitor and report preparation of invoices and payments.
• Conduct weekly meetings with the design and estimating team to review job statuses and project timelines.
• Resolve customer issues and escalate unresolvable issues to the Director of Commercial Operations.
• Maintain and manage multiple project schedules, costs (including but not limited to labor and material), and keep projects on track.
