As a Sr. Distribution Manager, you'll lead the logistics and distribution operations that ensure Maverik stores receive the products they need-on time, accurately, and efficiently. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, driving improved forecasting, vendor partnerships, inventory flow, and communication across the supply chain. You'll collaborate cross-functionally and guide a high-performing team while leading ongoing optimization of systems, processes, and network capabilities.

Location / Schedule :

This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.

Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities

The Sr. Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing Maverik's supply chain systems and distribution operations to ensure effective inventory management and reliable delivery execution. This role leads a high-performing team and partners closely with distributors, suppliers, and internal departments to improve processes and system performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support the Distribution team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Build strong partnerships across merchandising, procurement, IT, food service, store operations, and other internal stakeholders.
• Manage relationships and contracts with broadline distributors to ensure cost control, performance, and capacity needs are met.
• Oversee forecasting, ordering, delivery systems, and inventory management tools (including PDI / EDI systems).
• Coordinate item setup and inventory flow for new items, promotions, discontinued products, and large operational events such as remodels, openings, and closures.
• Monitor reporting and proactively troubleshoot supply chain issues, including out-of-stocks, delivery interruptions, and product quality concerns.
• Lead continuous process and system improvements, drive operational efficiency, and ensure timely communication of schedules, delivery changes, and order guides.
• Provide timely issue resolution, including occasional after-hours support in a 24 / 7 environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range : $105,000-$120,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
