The Role

Pegasus Solar is looking for a competitive dynamic field sales representative to develop the strategic high growth markets in the mid-tier and top end of long tail accounts.

The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing revenue by managing and negotiating with customers, generating leads, qualifying prospects, managing the sale of products through the channel and coordinating field support efforts.

This is a remote, home office position reporting to the VP of Sales. Candidates must be located out of the Pacific Northwest (NorCal, OR, WA, AK, Reno NV) region for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the distribution channel to leverage the channel capabilities to increase revenue and market share.
  • Evaluate customer and channel business needs and build productive long-lasting relationships through your direct efforts and network.
  • Meet personal and team sales targets.
  • Coordinate with Field Support for trial installations and crew training.
  • Research the market to generate sales leads and follow through on all leads whether self generated or through marketing campaigns.
  • Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments.
  • Report and provide feedback to the broader team on the product and the market.
  • Maintain and expand client database within the territory.
  • Up to 50% travel required.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3+ years proven sales experience, solar experience a huge plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and dynamic.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • BA / BS degree or equivalent
