Senior Physical Therapist- Jefferson Moss-Magee- Norristown, PA

The Senior Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, treatment and discharge planning of all patients referred for their given services. The PT, is an integral healthcare provider accountable to assist the patient to progress to their highest level of function. The Senior Level therapist will uphold the mission, vision, and values of Jefferson Health. Works in conjunction with other allied health care professionals to coordinate treatment plans and care.

Essential Functions :

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Provides therapy evaluations, treatment planning, treatment interventions and discharge planning for a full patient caseload in Outpatient.
• Participates in student education.
• Assesses, synthesizes and applies the literature to their clinical practice.
• Plans, organizes and delivers treatment programs that help clients / patients recover and

rehabilitate.

Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.

AND

Experience :

Minimum of 5 years of current clinical practice.

Valid PA state license in Physical Therapy.

BLS, CPR certification required.

Conditions of Employment

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
