Shift : 6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
• BSN completion preferred

Additional Details :

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

IV therapy / Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care / Management, Respiratory, Chest tubes-Emerson / PleurEvac, External CPAP / BIPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy care / management, Work Settings, ER Holding, MS / Tele, Telemetry, Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, Medications, Heparin Protocols, PCA, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care / Wound Vac, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response / Code teams, Genitourinary / Renal, Pre / Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Plastics, Surgical drains, and Orthopedics, Total Joint Replacements.

Preferred Skills / Experience : Previous Charge Experience.

Central line care / management , Phlebotomy , PICC line management , and Starting and maintaining IVs

Unit / Facility Details : May Come into contact with Covid Patients. Would accept a first time traveler who is proficient with Cerner documentation and has excellent references. Number of Beds : 48.

Special Requests : Pre-Approved Time Off :

2 Requests. RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. Please ensure all RTO is for the full 13 weeks for each submittal No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling : Weekend Coverage : EOW. Must work Holidays.

Floating Requirements : Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 3 years (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
