The Field Engineer position is responsible for providing technical engineering and cost information to ensure the work complies with all engineering standards. This position will work daily with superintendents, administration, field personnel and report to a senior project manager. This position is located on USA Parkway.

- Assist with quantities, costs, payables, subcontract tracking, schedules that meet site conditions and requirements of the project plans and specifications.
- Support estimating team as needed.
- Aid with design reviews, develop scope of work to create biddable packages, validate bids, and create plans for execution.
- Provide technical support and direction regarding project material controls including delivery dates, construction schedules and design requirements to ensure additional costs are minimized.
- Develop job essential data including quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per man hour, and equipment to ensure accurate estimates and bids.
- Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports, punch lists, material requirement calculations, etc.
- Perform pre-construction planning, scheduling, and cost control.
- Assist all aspects of the Job Set up which include submittals, permits, and subcontracts.
- Maintain timely awareness of project cost and planning performance against budget and schedule; analyze potential changes; recommend corrective actions.
- Knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications, building materials and standards applicable to discipline.
- The ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications.
- Strong relationship management, verbal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Proficiency with HCSS HeavyJob and Primavera 6 experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
- This is a drug testing position which requires a pre-employment drug test as a condition of employment.
