The Ohio Department of Aging (ODA)seeks An experienced skilled and motivated SENIOR SYSTEMS ANALYSTwith software systems analysis and quality assuranceexperience.

Mandatory Requirements

Completion of undergraduate core program coursework ininformation technology engineering or telecommunications

Minimum TEN years Business Process Analyst / SystemsEngineering experience

Minimum FIVE yearsSoftware Development Experience

Minimum FIVEyears Quality Assurance Analyst experience

Minimum 2 years project / program management or equivalentexperience

Required HandsOnExperience :

• TEN years in contributing to theSoftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from the design phase to theimplementation phase of Web Applications;
• Demonstrated in theSprint Planning and execution with project management principles;experience in building test automation frameworks;

translatingcustomer requirements into functional requirements for webapplications development.

Familiarity WithMicroservices architecture and containerization technologies likeDocker and Kubernetes is a plus.

Experiencewith continuous integration and deployment (CI / CD) pipelines usingAzure DevOps Experience (minimum THREE years).

A sound understanding of relational databases and handsonexperience with Standard Query Language (SQL) and producingbusiness reports using SQL reports.

Responsibilities :

This position will function as a highly skilled andhandson experience senior Systems Analyst with experience insoftware development and quality assurance with specificresponsibilities that include :

Createsinformation systems documentation to identify business andfunctional requirements; coordinates activities for requirementsgathering and analysing information regarding informationtechnology system(s).

Performs impact analysesto identify system and process interdependencies; Collects andanalyses data to provide informed options fordecisionmaking

Develops Request for Proposal(RFP) preparation vendor solution evaluations & recommendationsto meet defined business requirements.

CreatesInformation Technology systems and process flows and flowcharts;decomposes complex processes; develops technical specificationdocuments

Creates architecture diagrams todetail the configuration of servers databases and networkconnections for current and future systems models

Analysis models and interprets data using different toolsand techniques

Reviews and assists in softwaredevelopment lifecycle activitiesincludingfeature and project costtime and effort estimations.

Creates userstories develops teststrategyandtest cases and does the testexecution; can create data migration plans including the validationof migrated data

Createsor sets up test datafor performing test scenarios; executes unit test scripts andassists in executing system test scripts independently;

verifiesand documents unit and system test results to ensure the softwareis producing desired results; debugs and revises programs when unitand system tests do not produce desired results

Coordinates execution of feature and system test scriptsparticipates in debugging efforts and defect tracking creates andreviews test data for performing testing load testing andregression testing

Develops and maintains arobust automation framework for the creation of automated testscripts and automated test reporting with minimal to nosupervision

Handsonwith setting up cloudbasedplatforms to allow running automated test scripts on web and mobiledevices using virtual browsers.

Designsandexecutes performance and load tests to assess systems scalabilityand performance.

Maintainstest versioning toensure test data aligns with testing requirements.

Identifies data sources; does data analysisanddatamapping; develops and maintains data pipeline; provides dataflow diagrams and documents the process.

Takesinitiativeand implements innovative ideas to improve the businessand Software development process

Collaboratesand communicates effectively with customers stakeholders and teammembers.

Works collaboratively with the servicedelivery team (e.g. projectmanagers andbusiness analysts) todevelop project plans and documentation
