mPower is looking for a well-rounded Project Manager to join our team. Our team consists of experts and professionals who have experience in management, administration, consulting, and technology.

This position seeks to implement positive mission-oriented change, to deliver tangible operational results, and to build and continuously improve the organization.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Lead project planning, execution, and delivery for consulting engagements with federal government clients, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Collaborate with clients to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, leveraging Agile principles where applicable to promote iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including consultants, analysts, and technical specialists, to execute project tasks and achieve project milestones.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes, to provide transparency and accountability.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
  • Support internal corporate projects, such as process improvements, technology implementations, and organizational initiatives, leveraging Agile methodologies and best practices to drive success.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience within project management field.
  • Proven experience managing projects in a professional consulting environment, with familiarity with and active usage of Agile methodologies and principles.
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or JIRA.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications :

PMP certification preferred.
