Assistant Director Of Sales
The Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor is looking for their next Assistant Director of Sales to join their team. The hotel is neatly situated near Baltimore's scenic Inner Harbor, and adjacent to Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Directly linked to over a million additional square feet of space by covered pedestrian sky bridge to the Baltimore Convention Center. This property features 757 guestrooms and over 100,000 square feet of meeting space with their largest room being 26,712 square feet.
Our ideal candidate will bring sales leadership experience from an Assistant Director or Senior Sales Manager role, with a minimum of three years in hotel group sales. A proven track record of success is essential, along with a strong drive to support the team and consistently be a top performer.
Shift Pattern : This role is primarily Monday Friday 8 : 30am 5 : 00pm with the ability to be flexible with their time to accommodate any client engagement events and site inspections.

What Will I Be Doing?
The primary responsibilities of this position are to support the group sales team at your hotel / complex and support and participate in business strategies that are creative, dynamic and impactful towards achieving your hotels annual budget and crossover targets. As an Assistant Director of Sales, you will individually own and manage a key vertical market for your hotel as well as contribute leadership support to the commercial strategies for the sales team. One of your goals is to support the performance improvement of the sales team by helping them connect strategy and business processes. Business processes should be executed to impact revenue streams, including Rooms, Catering and Events. Key deliverables for this role are to support the deployment, team composition, and support the team's activities that are a "predictive and prescriptive" approach to drive performance.
Position Statement
This role requires strong sales, communication, and networking skills. The ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and then apply a disciplined approach to qualify, negotiate and secure new revenue for the hotel.
Strategy
Contribute to the hotel's Annual Multi-Year Strategic Intentions and Commercial Strategy, in partnership with the hotel commercial leadership team and regional sales, revenue and marketing support.
Leadership
Lead segments of daily and weekly business review and sales strategy meetings.
