1st Shift - Laser Operator, $16.50 - Grand Rapids, MI
Come work for this premier manufacturer of metal parts supplying both the Office Furniture and Industrial industries!
Preferred Qualifications :
- Gauges steel
- Ability to convert decimals, read blueprints, and use calipers
- Set-up pattern files
- Ability to detect quality control issues, and report proper issues if they arise
- Adjusts to hole sizes
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills :
- Familiarity with measurement tools, blueprints and calipers
- Must be dependable
- Must be a hard worker
- Ability to problem solve
- Good math skills
- High school diploma or GED
The appropriate candidate for this position will be responsible for setting up, operating and controlling all laser machine functions.
Machine operating experience is preferred, and this is a heavier lifting position as well with lifting sheet metal into the machine.
