The Quality Auditors job is to ensure customers quality standards are met on each Production Order.
Quality Auditors are responsible for :
- Communicating with supervisors, molders, setup personnel, material handlers, and floor walkers as quality issues appear to resolve them.
- Oversees that products are meeting quality standards at each step of the production process to ensure shipped products are meeting the customers quality standards.
- Records all audit results in the proper forms and logs.
- Provides production with previous run samples, work instructions, and gauges required.
- Works with production during scheduled mold and / or color changeovers to ensure the correct product / color is running and meets customer quality standards.
- Verify proper packaging and labels are being used for scheduled production items.
- Identifying and placing on hold all non-conforming products and properly fill out the Quality Assurance Deviance Form (QADF).
SPECIFIC DUTIES :
Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating any non-conformities to production supervisor or process technician.Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that parts meet customer specificationsApproves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting measurement data into quality database.Ability to stand or walk continuously for up to 7 hours per day.Attention to detailapplying quality standards for products Rosti manufacturesUsing gauges such as calipers, pin gauges, and go / no-go gauges to measure productsRemoving non-conforming products that dont meet customer standards and placing on holdAccepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production teamPerforming inspections at random to assess product qualityQUALIFICATIONS :
A Quality Auditor must have good verbal and written communication skills.Have basic math, reading, computer, and English skills.Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints and inspection documents.Use of inspection equipment such as calipers, pin gauges, go / no gauges and optical competitor.Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that product meets customer specifications.Must have good attendance.Must show good organization skills and keep their work areas clean.Must be able to work on their own with little supervision.Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work overtime.Past inspection experience preferred but not necessary. On the job training will be provided.Capable of working with minimal supervision and maintaining on taskAdaptable to changes in priorities, keeping a positive attitudeCompensation details : 19-21.5 Hourly Wage
