Job Description :
- Client needs experience with Lathes, Manual machining, CNC machining, Computerized machining does not apply towards this role
Responsibilities :
Assist with transition from development to productionManufacture, assemble, and test mechanical,according to written procedures and engineering models, drawings, specifications and written proceduresInterface with production leads, supervisors, manager and QA inspection to ensure timely customer deliveryTroubleshoot, diagnose, and correct discrepancies by modification, rework, repair, and / or maintenance. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence controlSetup and operate precision calibrated tools including but limited to, Lathe, gauges, etc.Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiencyPerform routine lathe, equipment maintenance and functions such as daily clean-up of work areasOther duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to achieving organizational successBasic mathematics skillsHigh School diploma or GED3-5 years direct experience in industrial manufacturing, integration, or other relevant fieldAbility to work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilitiesAbility to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructionHand dexterity required to assemble small mechanical componentsBasic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.Strong verbal and written communication skillsPerform repetitive work including lifting of heavy items up to 44 lbs.Work off-shift, extended hours overtime, and weekends if / when necessaryDesired
