Type : Hybrid

Salary Range : $165,000 – $214,000

About the Opportunity

Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Practice Manager to support its Investigations, White Collar, and Antitrust practices in Washington, D.C.

This position will work closely with practice group leadership and cross-functional teams across business operations—including Finance, Talent, Business Development, Innovation, IT, and Communications—to drive execution of strategic goals, manage daily operations, and support attorney performance, resource allocation, client engagement, and profitability.

Acting as a chief of staff, the Practice Manager is a trusted advisor responsible for delivering insights, driving initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence across the practice.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with practice chairs and business teams to execute strategic plans focused on growth, revenue, and reputation
• Analyze financial performance, productivity, and timekeeper metrics to deliver actionable insights
• Manage attorney work allocation, staffing, onboarding, and professional development coordination in collaboration with Talent
• Support client value initiatives and act as a liaison for in-house legal operations teams to improve service delivery
• Oversee daily operational functions including budgeting, meeting planning, billing, matter management, and internal communications
• Collaborate across departments to drive innovation, process improvement, and cross-functional alignment
