Job Summary :

We are hiring Call Center Representatives to work in the University of Michigan Health Center . This role primarily involves managing a phone line where patients and nurses place meal orders and handling various other non-call-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment. Experience or education in the nutrition and dietetics field is highly desirable, particularly for those classified as Dietetic Assistants or Dietetic Technicians.

Shifts :

  • Varying shifts starting as early as 5 : 30 am and ending as late as 11 : 00 pm at University Hospital.
  • Shifts can range from 4 to 8 hours , depending on the position.
  • We are looking for candidates with availability for 3-5 shifts per week .
  • This is a temp-to-perm position with the potential for permanent hire after an initial period.

Training :

The training process may take 1-2 months to ensure full competency.

Required Qualifications :

  • Customer service experience in a call center setting is preferred.
  • Education or experience in nutrition and dietetics is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Required Immunizations :

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) : Proof of at least one MMR vaccine or documentation of immunity.
  • Varicella (Chickenpox) : Verification of vaccination or evidence of immunity.
  • Hepatitis B : Documentation of the complete vaccination series or proof of immunity.
  • Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) : Proof of vaccination within the last 10 years.
  • TB (Tuberculosis) : Proof of a negative TB skin test within the last two months.
