Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night Emergency Dept position requiring a current MA RN license and certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Patient population includes those presenting for emergency care
  • Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Start time flexibility of up to four hours before or after scheduled start, only for rare critical staffing needs
  • Uses Epic EMR, with prior experience preferred
  • Complete non-billable online modules before and during orientation
  • Holiday coverage may be required per unit needs
  • Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided during orientation
  • Candidates must live at least 200 miles from the facility to qualify for consideration
  • Travelers with prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license will not be considered

    • Requirements

  • Active MA RN license in hand required
  • Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
  • Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, and PALS
  • Must pass a Tele / EKG exam with a minimum score of 80% during orientation; only one attempt allowed
  • Education will be verified by a third party as part of compliance
