Your Role in Production Management

Step into the heart of our manufacturing operations! As the Production Operations Leader, you will :

• Lead a dynamic team within a bustling production environment, orchestrating daily activities.
• Skillfully adjust schedules to meet our delivery targets.
• Review production performance and share constructive feedback with your team.
• Strategically assess attendance and redirect resources to fulfill scheduling demands effectively.
• Implement cross-training strategies within your team to address any production variations.
• Oversee quality by monitoring scrap and rework, and devise corrective solutions.
• Utilize lean problem-solving techniques such as Fishbone and 5 Whys to enhance efficiency.
• Regulate work center loads by redistributing excess tasks when necessary.
• Collaborate with the CNC programming department, guaranteeing that tools and fixtures for jobs are available when needed.
• Conduct prompt and thorough weekly 5S audits to maintain an organized workspace.
• Uphold safety standards ensuring all operational procedures are secure.
• Draft or modify Work Instructions for optimal process clarity.
• Foster an organized and clean shop environment to enable seamless product flow.
• Engage with departments such as Engineering, Materials Management, and Purchasing, fostering a cooperative atmosphere.
• Ensure excellent service delivery to Assembly by maintaining open communication channels.
• Craft and refine part routings to streamline processes efficiently.
• Design rework operations whenever required ensuring no detail is left unattended.
• Generate maintenance work orders promptly.
• Initiate Purchase Requisitions for requisite supplies.
