We are currently seeking an Insurance Customer Care Specialist to join our Blue Springs team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support.

Monday - Friday (8 : 30am - 5pm) Work Schedule

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and service delivery.
  • Update and advise clients and their information, process policy changes, and issue insurance documentation such as certificates of insurance and ID cards.
  • Handle incoming calls, addressing client inquiries and providing assistance with vehicle changes, billing adjustments, and coverage options.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, collect necessary documents for policy issuance, and follow up on pending actions.
  • Greet walk-in clients, provide assistance with their insurance needs, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Send weekly thank-you cards to prospects and existing clients, nurturing relationships and expressing appreciation.

Requirements

  • NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
  • An insurance license is required for the position, but not required to apply.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail when reviewing policies, contracts, and client data to minimize errors and ensure the highest level of accuracy.
  • Possessing the ability to work autonomously, arrange tasks according to their importance, and collaborate in a team-oriented setup.
  • Candidate must have basic computer software knowledge. This includes being proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communicate effectively through written and verbal means, both with clients and team members, to provide clear, concise, and informative responses.
  • Friendly and positive attitude, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
