The Marketing Director will oversee, coordinate, and participate in the development of marketing strategies, policies, programs and campaigns for the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains supervisory and management staff in the department.
Oversee the daily workflow of the department, to include on-premises staff, remote teams and contract marketing staff.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Directs and implements the organization’s advertising and promotional activities for in-store and online marketing initiatives.
Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches, customers and demand for products.
Partners with Procurement and eComm leaders in conducting market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of products.
Identifies new market segments that will benefit from company products.
Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research.
Maintains knowledge on trends and services for marketing.
Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.
Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the department’s operating budget.
Composes, develops, evaluates, and conducts training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies.
Negotiates contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
