We Are Seeking :

Wright Physical Therapy has an immediate opening for a Physical Therapy Aide. This employee will receive excellent learning opportunities for anyone looking to pursue a career in physical therapy, occupational therapy, medical doctor, physician assistant, or other related career fields.

Duties :

• Performing patient intake tasks
• Preparing equipment and treatment rooms
• Liaising between patients, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and other departments
• Assisting patients to walk, sit, and stand
• Observing patients performing prescribed physical exercises
• Documenting patients' responses to treatment and updating patient files
• applying ice packs or heat pads as instructed

Qualifications :

• At least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Personable, energetic, and capable of working with a diverse group of people
• Reliable and professional with the ability to place value on and maintain patient care as the number one priority
• Effective oral and written communication skills
