Position Summary

Responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Essential Functions

• Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
• Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports / documents errors or damages to management.
• Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls / messages appropriately.
• Completes clerical / computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
