Our client, a leader in renewable energy engineering, is seeking a Senior Plant Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Plant Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Plant Controls Engineering department supporting the SCADA and Plant Controls team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a high attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Location : Austin, TX

Pay Range : $74-$86 / hour

What's the Job?

• Lead SCADA design, configuration, and commissioning for utility-scale renewable energy projects while mentoring junior engineers.
• Coordinate across engineering disciplines and project managers to ensure technical and timeline requirements are met.
• Oversee contractor work, generate technical documentation, and ensure compliance with SCADA standards.
• Commission substation equipment and plant networks while driving operational performance improvements.
• Support strategic goals of the SCADA team by developing new standards and refining internal processes.
