Post-Op Spine Administrative Assistant

Schedule : Full time, day shift, 3 12-hour shifts per week, some weekends may be required

Hospital : Saint Thomas Midtown

Location : Nashville, TN

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and clerical duties in support of an assigned clinical area.
• Greet patients and visitors, answer general inquiries, and schedule patients for appointments.
• Answer, screen, and route telephone calls.
• Perform general clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, and mail distribution.
• Create various reports and documents.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians and other health-care team members about patient care.
• Perform unit safety checks.
• Assist with meeting patient needs and escalate as appropriate.
• May enter and maintain timekeeping changes and staff schedules.
• May assist with stocking supplies and keeping unit and patient rooms clean and orderly.

Requirements

Additional Preferences : Hospital experience is preferred
