Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-value solutions for passengers and crews.
- Industrialization Leader : responsible for the technical review and preparation of new products, ensuring they reach the production phase on time and of good quality.
- Manufacturing Engineer : design and implement process and equipment layouts and improvements, supporting operations through technical support, product design, quality standards, and process improvement.
Essential Functions
Manage the technical development of a product from conception to production.Utilize core tools such as PFMEA, DFMA, control plans, etc.Collaborate with engineering, operations, tooling, and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.Review and approve or reject engineering drawings in accordance with internal DFM guidelines and requirements.Create and maintain detailed work instructions.Ensure design and process are sufficient to produce the quality of product required by internal and external standards.Qualification Requirements
B.S degree in a related technical field (e.g., Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer / Technology, Aeronautics Engineer, or Electrical Engineer) or an Associate degree with 6 years related experience or 12 years of job-related experience.Three years of manufacturing experience required in a Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or related Engineering capacity.Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred.Catia V.5 or design modeling a plus.Professional Skills
Must have basic knowledge of production methods, process capabilities, tooling processes, and manufacturing processes.Must be capable of preparing well-written reports and orderly reports.Must have basic knowledge of manufacturing and related operations with detailed knowledge of such fields as product design, engineering function, tool design, tool fabrication, ergonomics, and EHS.Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing principles preferred.Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and Operating Systems.Behavioral Skills
