A food production company in San Clemente is expected to have an opening for a Store Picker in the near future. This individual is responsible for receiving produce and raw foods, assembling, shipping, labeling, and / or packaging foods to customers using manual assembly and equipment. This individual must be able to work in all temperature-controlled, cold environments (38 degrees). This is a temp to hire position with a pay of $18.50 / hr. The shift is Tues-Fri 2PM-10 : 30PM and Saturdays 10AM-3PM plus overtime.

Responsibilities :

• Selects and packages products for shipment based on customer orders.
• Wrap pallets and operate pallet jack.
• Uses technology, including handheld devices, to sort, scan and prepare orders
• May be training to do a bigger job, work in a variety of areas, conveyor / assembly lines, receiving, shipping, inventory, and other processes independently.
• Package kits and rotate and check food ingredients for freshness.
• Prepares and understands a variety of routine paperwork associated with food preparation, packaging, labeling, and controls.
