Senior Financial Analyst

My client is a PE backed retailer, they are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team supporting a growing retail franchise network. This role will be responsible for delivering financial insights, managing forecasting and budgeting processes, and driving data-driven decision-making to support both corporate operations and franchise partners. This will report to the VP of Finance

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for franchise operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze franchise performance metrics (sales, margins, royalties, operational costs), identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, new store performance, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
• Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages for senior leadership, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, Real Estate) to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
• Partner with franchisees to review financial performance, share benchmarking data, and identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by reconciling financial reports with accounting systems and supporting systems (POS, ERP).
• Support new franchise development, including financial due diligence, ROI analysis, and onboarding metrics.
• Participate in system improvements, automation efforts, and business intelligence initiatives to enhance reporting and efficiency.
