Overview
The Department of Communication and Journalism is seeking qualified candidates for part-time Adjunct Instructor teaching positions. These positions are non-benefit eligible, non-tenure track, at the rank of Adjunct Instructor. The faculty member will provide instruction in various areas including Public Speaking, Communication Theory, Persuasion, Digital and Social Media Communication, Strategic Communication, Advertising, Public Relations, and Multimedia Journalism (including broadcast, podcasting, streaming, social media journalism, and drone-based media production). Additional areas of interest include digital content creation and management, crisis management and communication, and emerging communication technologies such as AI, VR, and AR. This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible unranked academic position. Appointment period is for the semester with consideration for reappointment. Hours vary depending on opportunity available.

Qualifications
MA in Communication Studies or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
