Job Summary

The Medical Coordinator manages medical care for all animals, ensuring e-mails are addressed promptly, timely appointments, vaccinations, and treatments, and keeping records up-to-date.

Essential Job Functions

• Schedule and coordinate veterinary appointments for foster animals
• Track medical records and treatments for all animals in the system
• Communicate with fosters regarding medical needs and instructions
• Order and manage medical supplies as needed
• Ensure all medical emails are addressed within 24 hours
• Ensure all urgent or emergencies are addressed immediately, escalating to the manager when necessary.
