Japanese auto parts manufacturing company in OH seeks Japanese Bilingual Accounting Staff to support financial decision-making information by collecting, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data.

Non-exempt

8-5, M-F full time in office

Will support relocation and visa

$50K-70K plus benefits package

TACTICAL SUMMARY

• Develop and compile the corporate budget for the company officers
• Develop a budget / forecast for each department based on the business plans and budget / forecast estimates submitted by each department
• Compile the overall corporate budget for a single year along with three year Corporate Business Plans and report to the officers and the group
• Track the actual income and expenditures against the budget and report to the company executives as well as group executives for consolidated closings
• Oversee and manage accounting audits performed by a local accounting firm monthly and the J-SOX audit conducted annually by the group company
• Manage the company's financials and work with banks on loan accounts
• Manage administrative tasks associated with expatriates and visitors dispatched from our parent company while ensuring compliance with all company policies
• Revise the budget as necessary
• Ensure that the company is continuously keeping sufficient funds to fulfill its financial obligation by preparing monthly cash flow forecast. Monitor actual cash flow against forecast and take necessary steps to remedy variances
• Provides leadership and support to improve working conditions (safety, quality, productivity, and cost) and increase your associates skills and capabilities
• All other duties assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree; or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 2 years or more related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 5 years related work

Some process knowledge of the manufacturing areas covered.

Some knowledge of the materials, i.e. : production / quality / reporting forms, visual boards, pull card system, etc.

Effective facilitation and coach skills.

Positive attitude and approach in a changing environment.

ability to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment.

Able to take some travel.
