Apto Solutions is hiring a Staff Accountant to join the Finance and Accounting team in Atlanta.

Responsibilities :

Process accounts receivable, payment application, and related JEs

Manage and develop (as needed) the AR and other accounting processes

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software

Manage order release process, interacting with customers and client services

Assist with AP as needed

Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Provide support for budgeting and forecasting processes

Qualifications (Skills / Qualifications) :

Must have a 4 year Accounting Degree

Experience as a Staff Accountant with high AP / AR involvement

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Must understand debts and credits

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Team Player, ability to contribute to a small team in a variety of ways

Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or errors in financial data

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks is a plus

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
