We are looking for a talented Real Estate Development Associate to join a growing real estate investment and development team focused on creating projects that drive both financial performance and lasting community impact. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced leadership on complex, large-scale developments while gaining hands-on exposure to every stage of the investment and development process.
In this role, you will help identify, evaluate, and manage new acquisitions and development opportunities across a range of asset classes, including multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, education, and healthcare facilities. Your responsibilities will span the full life cycle of real estate development : sourcing deals, conducting market and demographic research, underwriting and financial modeling, supporting due diligence and entitlements, managing design and construction teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also contribute to structuring joint ventures and community partnerships, advancing sustainability goals, and preparing presentations and reports for investment committees and investors.
We are seeking candidates with 36 years of experience in real estate investing, development, or project management who bring strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail. A background with entitlements, CEQA / NEPA processes, or development management software (CoStar, ArcGIS, Procore / Bluebeam) is highly valued. Equally important is a proactive mindset, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for using real estate to support community and economic development.
This role offers the growth trajectory of a startup paired with the guidance of a seasoned leadership team. It is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to take on meaningful responsibility early, build deep technical expertise, and directly contribute to projects that deliver measurable impact.
