Our Converged Sensors team is accelerating multi-mission aperture & multi-mission processing technologies through research, development, & demonstrations.
Who You Are
Our team is seeking a game-changing software engineer architect to help design, develop, & deliver heterogeneous high-performance compute multi-mission digital signal processing hardware & software.
This includes utilizing the latest processing technologies & integrating together into common processor form factors. This also includes delivering software development kits & employing DevSecOps methodologies to integrate & execute complex Radar, EW, & Communications skills / modes / algorithms.
In this role, you will serve as a software engineer architect on a product team dedicated to architecting, prototyping, & demonstrating Radar, Electronic Warfare, & Communications multi-mission processing algorithms on high-performance compute environments.
A level 4 employee is typically senior-career and has 7 to 9+ years of professional experience.
Please note :
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret government security clearance.
This position requires the ability to travel up to 20% to Lockheed Martin sites as needed.
What You Will Do (The Work)
- Drive embedded high performance compute approach for RF sensor research and development activities
- Implement a real-time heterogenous compute approach for RF sensors
- Align team to a shared technical vision a multi-mission processing solution, validating technology assumptions & alternatives,& creating a CI / CD pipeline
- Collaborate with products teams prototype & demonstrate multi-mission sensor processing technologies
- Define multi-mission processor hardware requirements from development racks to tactical chassis
- Create CI / CD pipelines and software tools to enable open architecture software development
- Demonstrate environment for digital signal processing algorithms in partnership with teams developing mission capabilities
- Utilize expertise in software development, embedded software architecture, and digital signal processing optimize application performance

Desired skills
- Master's degree or higher in relevant field
- Experience with embedded software development
- Experience with deploying software to FPGAs using high level synthesis (HLS)
- Understanding of Radar, Electronic Warfare, Communications systems
- Familiarity with software-defined radio (SDR) concepts & implementation
- Expertise in digital signal processing & algorithm development
- Experience in developing CUDA-based signal processing pipelines
- Prior experience in the defense industry or related field
- Knowledge of Agile & DevSecOps methodologies
