• Position Summary

We are seeking a

• Litigation Associate Attorney (3–5 years of experience)
• to join our expanding Trust & Estate Litigation Division.

This role is ideal for a motivated litigator who wants to grow and manage meaningful cases, and develop into a senior or partner-track attorney in a professional, system-driven environment.

• Key Responsibilities
• Manage trust, probate, and fiduciary litigation matters.
• Draft petitions, complaints, motions, discovery, and other pleadings.
• Conduct and respond to discovery; prepare for depositions and hearings.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences under supervision.
• Collaborate with paralegals and docketing staff to maintain deadlines and compliance.
• Participate in client meetings and strategy sessions.
• Contribute to improving firm workflows and client service.
• Qualifications
• Required :
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience (civil, probate, or trust).
• Excellent written, oral, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with California Rules of Court and probate procedure.
• Strong communication and teamwork mindset.
• Preferred :
• Experience handling contested trust or probate petitions.
• Knowledge of fiduciary accountings or financial elder abuse actions.
• Desire for mentorship, leadership development, and long-term growth.
• Compensation and Benefits
• Base Salary : $165,000 – $195,000 (commensurate with experience).
• Performance Bonus : Up to 20% of base salary based on measurable metrics :
• 70% – Collections (net revenue billed and collected)
• 20% – Originations (new client revenue generated)
• 10% – Team Engagement and Leadership (collaboration, mentoring, reliability)
• Total earning potential : $198,000 – $234,000 per year.
