Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activities within the logistics and distribution environment. Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures. Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly. Support site operations by remaining alert and responsive to changing conditions and / or requests from site management. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
