About The Position
Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse
Profession : Registered Nurse

Shift : Day / Night Rotation
Hours per Shift : 12
Experience : Minimum of 2 years in an ICU setting preferred
License : Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse
Certifications : BLS required
ACLS required
PALS required
Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire
CPI certification within 90 days of hire
Must-Have :
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Computer literacy
Description :
Must be available to work through the holiday season.
No guaranteed time off for the three major holidays.
ICU day / night rotation with a shift duration of 12 hours.
Candidate must possess ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the recognized system during clinical orientation.
Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is recommended within 2 years of hire.
TNCC certification is recommended within 2 years of hire.
Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served on the assigned unit.
Ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to age-specific needs.
Provide care necessary for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups.
Demonstrates behaviors consistent with professional conduct, effective communication, and a safe environment.
Promotes dignity, respect, well-being, and exemplifies healthy relationships in patient care.
