Engineer Of Water Pumping
Under direction, manages the operations and personnel of the City's pumping stations supplying water to the City of Chicago and various municipalities, and performs related duties as required.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a directly related field of engineering, PLUS seven (7) years of professional engineering work experience, of which five (5) years are in a supervisory or management role involving the design, operation, and maintenance of water infrastructure OR the planning, coordination and management of water infrastructure construction improvement projects OR Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a directly related field of engineering, PLUS six (6) years of professional engineering work experience, of which five (5) years are in a supervisory or management role involving the design, operation, and maintenance of water infrastructure OR the planning, coordination and management of water infrastructure construction improvement projects.
Licensure, Certification, or Other Qualifications
Registration as a Professional Engineer (R.P.E.) in the State of Illinois is required.
