Operations Supervisor
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations while ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity across departments. The ideal candidate will foster a safe and productive working environment and ensure operational goals are met while driving a dedicated focus on continuous improvement to achieve streamlined operations.
Essential Functions / Duties :
- Assist and support Operations Manager with supervision of Inbound / Outbound Coordinator, warehouse associates, and drivers to include but not limited to : workload prioritization and ensuring employees follow all policies and procedures and participating in disciplinary action, as needed.
- Supervise day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflow and optimal productivity.
- Oversee transfer truck arrivals, unloading, and reloading of north and south orders.
- Manage a seamless flow of product movement between warehouse and drivers and ensure accurate product and required documentation is distributed to all assigned routes.
- Dispatch all drivers
- Arranges for substitutes and stand-by drivers or may drive a truck when necessitated to cover if coverage is not adequate in order to meet the needs of the business and customers.
- Coordinate and assign tasks to team members based on business priorities.
- Monitor performance, provide coaching and feedback, and support staff development.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
- Track and report key performance metrics (KPIs) and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., warehouse, transportation, customer service, HR) to streamline operations.
- Manage inventory, supplies, or equipment as required.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Maintains high level of housekeeping and organization throughout the warehouse.
- Resolve operational issues and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records, schedules, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulatory agencies, as well as compliance with all company rules, procedures and policies.
- Communicates immediately all safety, operational and service issues and concerns to manager.
- Develops and maintains a Safety-First culture through continuous reinforcement and training of Safety Protocols to prevent both accidents and injuries.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience :

The base pay for this role ranges from $69,212 - $103,818 annually. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
