About the Role :
As a Lead Robotics and Mechatronics Technician, you will play a crucial role in supervising service technicians for the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. Your expertise will help guide the Operations Maintenance team in designing effective solutions for complex issues while managing impactful projects. You will also have the opportunity to train and mentor both service and contract technicians.

Key Responsibilities :
Foster a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocolsMaintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems throughout the facilityManage facility equipment, including Fire Life Safety (FLS) systemsLead a team, developing effective training plans for service techniciansImplement and monitor preventative maintenance proceduresInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of control components and systemsCreate and manage work orders with details on labor, maintenance, and parts usedMaintain positive working relationships across all Amazon OperationsDevelop job plans for emergency repairs of critical assetsOversee vendor activity for planned and emergency repairsEngage in physical tasks including moving up to 49 lbs, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and manual dexterity requiredBASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office4+ years of experience in predictive and preventative maintenance4+ years of repairing material handling equipment and automated conveyor systems4+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics4+ years of experience in safety standards4+ years of troubleshooting material handling equipmentHigh school diploma or equivalentFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysThorough knowledge of electrical and electronic principlesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

The base pay for this position ranges from $73,500 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $105,600 / year in our highest geographic market.
