Job Description

This position is responsible for managing the development of marketing strategy and programs to maximize customer demand and sales growth for Rockwell Automation’s Life Sciences industry segment.

We are looking for a combination of strategy, creativity, and an understanding of the market landscape. You will report to the Head of Life Sciences Global Industry Strategy and Marketing and collaborate with multiple internal organizations and professionals at multiple levels, globally, including Regional Sales & Marketing, Industry Teams, Business Units and the Portfolio Marketing Function.

This role is a remote friendly position within the Global Marketing Team.

YOUR RESPONSIBLITIES :

1. Life Sciences Strategy Development : Develop and implement comprehensive strategies tailored to Life Sciences Industry Market Segments, aligning with our goals and market trends.

2. Market Analysis : Conduct in-depth market research to identify new opportunities, assess competition, and understand customer needs.

3. Industry relationship development : Build direct knowledgeof important Life Sciences partners and associations, understanding their unique requirements and position our products and services using the voice of the customer.

4. Product Positioning : Work with the product management team to ensure our offerings align with Life Sciences segment needs and help define product position.

5. Marketing Campaigns : Build marketing campaigns working with commercial marketing manager, including digital marketing, content creation, trade shows, and other promotional activities, to build awareness and demand within the Life Sciences market.

6. Return on investment Analysis : Analyze the effectiveness of both commercial and marketing programs, ensuring that they deliver results according to goals.

8. Team Leadership : Work with a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance to ourgroup.

9. Reporting : Provide regular reports and updates on Life Sciences marketing performance to industrymarketing, and sales leadership.

10. Solution Launch : Develop plans with Solutions marketing to grow share with major project launches within Industry Marketing across all regions.

Partner to improve the product portfolio to develop products and solutions considering regional customer, differentiation, pricing, supply chain, and regulatory dynamics.

The Essentials - You Will Have :

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering, marketing, or life sciences.
  • Experience in the Life Sciences automation and digital transformation market.
  • Experience developing successful marketing strategies in the Life sciences segment.
  • Experience with the Life Sciences industry companies and market trends.
  • In-depth expertise in process and discrete automation in the Life Sciences segment.
  • Need the ability to provide leadership in a matrixed company structure.
  • Experience using online tools to create marketing plans and track results.
  • Experience working on long-term strategies and ensuring short-term outcomes.
  • Experience developing multi-year plans and ensuring implementation.
  • Expertise conducting executive updates.
  • Global mindset and able to work with a global organization.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US or Europe is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have :

  • Master’s in business administration
  • We ask that you have a broad skill set, and at least 5-10 years of experience with Life Sciences Marketing strategy development.
  • Sales experience with Life Sciences automation / digital transformation
